Chrome Brass combines the substantial feel of genuine solid brass with a clean, silver-toned exterior. It is an excellent choice for cabinets and furniture that need a bright, refined and contemporary metallic detail.
Unlike warm golden finishes, this option has a cooler colour and a more reflective surface. It can make furniture feel lighter, cleaner and more modern while retaining the quality and reassuring weight associated with real metal hardware.
The finish is available across cabinet handles, drawer knobs and furniture pulls. This allows you to select different shapes for doors, drawers and wardrobes while maintaining a coordinated appearance throughout the room.
Chrome Brass has a clear silver colour and a polished appearance. The smooth surface reflects nearby light and colours, creating crisp highlights that emphasise the shape of each handle or knob.
It does not have the warm yellow or golden undertones associated with Gold Brass, Brushed Brass or Antique Brass. Instead, it introduces a cooler metallic detail that works particularly well in modern kitchens, bathrooms, wardrobes and built-in furniture.
The exact appearance depends partly on the hardware design. Smooth handles and rounded knobs produce cleaner reflections. Ribbed, knurled or shaped pieces create more variation between light and shadow.
This is generally a bright and reflective finish rather than a matt one. It has a smoother and more polished appearance than brushed, aged or antique metal finishes.
The amount of reflection may vary between individual designs. Broad, flat surfaces usually look brighter, while curved or textured areas create softer and more fragmented highlights.
This polished character makes the hardware suitable when you want a clean and noticeable detail rather than a muted or vintage-inspired effect.
Chrome Brass reflects its surroundings more clearly than most brushed finishes. In bright daylight, the surface can appear crisp and highly polished. Under softer artificial lighting, it may look calmer and less reflective.
Nearby colours may also be visible in the surface. Dark cabinetry can create deeper reflections, while white furniture and pale walls help the hardware appear particularly bright.
Product images should therefore be treated as a close representation of the finish. Screen settings, room lighting and nearby materials may influence how the final colour appears in your interior.
Our Chrome Brass handles, knobs and pulls are made from genuine solid brass. They are not plastic or lightweight pieces created simply to imitate the appearance of premium metal.
The visible exterior has a cool silver colour. Beneath that finish, the hardware is made from real brass, giving each piece a solid and substantial feel during everyday use.
It is important to understand that Chrome Brass does not describe a golden chrome colour. It refers to genuine brass hardware completed with a bright, silver-toned exterior.
Solid brass hardware generally feels heavier and more reassuring than plastic, hollow or lightweight alternatives. This difference is noticeable each time you open a frequently used kitchen drawer, cabinet door or wardrobe.
Even a small knob can make a furniture front feel more refined when it has the weight and character of genuine metal.
This construction makes the hardware suitable for quality cabinetry, bespoke furniture and carefully planned renovation projects. It is more than a decorative silver-coloured surface placed over a lightweight imitation.
Metal finishes can differ considerably in colour, texture and reflection. Comparing them before ordering can help you choose the most suitable option for your cabinets and surrounding interior.
Brushed Brass has a warm golden colour and a softly textured surface. Fine directional lines reduce reflection and give it a calmer appearance.
The chrome option is cooler, brighter and more reflective. Choose it when you want a clean silver accent rather than the warmth of golden furniture hardware.
Gold Brass creates a warm and decorative golden feature. It suits interiors that need warmth, contrast or a more luxurious gold-toned detail.
The silver finish feels cooler and more neutral. It is often a better choice when golden hardware would look too warm against the cabinetry, worktop or nearby fittings.
Antique Brass has deeper brown and golden tones, often with darker details around edges, grooves and recessed areas. It creates a more traditional or vintage-inspired appearance.
The chrome version has no intentionally aged or darkened effect. Its bright silver colour feels cleaner, fresher and more contemporary.
Brushed stainless steel often has a softer grey colour and a less reflective surface. It is commonly used on appliances and in practical contemporary interiors.
Chrome Brass usually looks brighter and more polished. It creates clearer highlights and can feel more decorative when used on furniture.
Nickel finishes may have a slightly warmer, softer or more muted undertone. Brushed nickel also reflects less light than a polished chrome surface.
The chrome finish normally appears cooler and clearer. It is suitable when you want the hardware to look crisp rather than blend softly into the cabinet colour.
Chrome Brass works particularly well with cool neutrals, monochrome interiors and clean modern colours. Its silver tone can also provide a fresh contrast against natural timber and dark statement cabinetry.
White, off-white and pale grey furniture creates a clean background for polished silver hardware. The combination feels bright, open and contemporary.
This finish adds definition to light furniture without introducing the warmth of golden metal. It is especially suitable for modern kitchens, bathroom vanities and fitted wardrobes.
Grey, charcoal and black cabinetry creates a stronger contrast with the reflective surface. The result can make simple furniture fronts feel more architectural and defined.
On matt black cabinets, the polished hardware becomes a clear metallic highlight. On pale grey furniture, it produces a softer and more understated contemporary result.
Cool silver hardware pairs naturally with navy blue, slate blue, teal and blue-green furniture. It complements these shades without introducing an additional warm undertone.
Softer colours, such as pale blue, blue-grey and muted sage, can create a calm and balanced interior when combined with a bright metallic detail.
The finish can also be used with oak, walnut and other timber surfaces. Its cooler colour creates an intentional contrast with the warmth and natural grain of wood.
On pale oak, the combination can produce a light and contemporary appearance. On darker timber, the reflective hardware adds definition without hiding the character of the wood.
Polished silver hardware works well with white marble, grey-veined stone, glass and other smooth surfaces. These materials share its clean and refined character.
It is particularly suitable in kitchens and bathrooms that already include chrome taps, silver-toned appliances or reflective decorative details.
The final effect depends on both the surface finish and the shape of the selected hardware. Simple designs strengthen its contemporary character, while more decorative shapes create a softer and more elegant result.
Knobs create a compact polished detail on cabinets and furniture. They work well on upper kitchen units, bedside tables, dressers and smaller furniture doors.
Simple round designs provide a clean metallic accent. Ribbed, shaped or decorative knobs reflect light from several angles and make the surface more noticeable.
Handles and pulls create a stronger visual line across drawers and cabinet fronts. They are suitable for kitchen units, wardrobes, sideboards, bathroom vanities and built-in storage.
Long straight pulls strengthen the clean and architectural appearance of the finish. Curved or detailed handles create a more decorative effect while retaining the fresh silver colour.
You do not need to use the same hardware shape on every cabinet door and drawer. For example, longer pulls can be used on wide drawers, while matching knobs can be installed on smaller furniture fronts.
Keeping one consistent finish connects the different hardware types. At the same time, choosing an appropriate shape for each cabinet improves practicality and visual balance.
When combining items from different collections, compare the photographs on each product page. Minor differences in reflection, shape and surface texture may be visible between separate designs.
Chrome Brass is most closely associated with modern and contemporary interiors. Its cool colour and polished surface complement smooth cabinet fronts, simple furniture lines and uncluttered spaces.
The finish can also work in elegant or transitional interiors. A shaped knob or decorative pull introduces a more classic detail while retaining a clean silver appearance.
It is particularly suitable for:
The polished silver tone is easy to coordinate with other cool metallic details. It works especially well with chrome taps, stainless steel appliances, silver lighting and glass fittings.
The finishes do not need to match perfectly. However, repeating a similar silver tone in several nearby details helps the room feel more considered and intentional.
It can also be combined with black metal for a sharper contemporary contrast. Mixing it with warm brass or bronze is possible, but each finish should be repeated elsewhere so that the result looks deliberate.
Fingerprints, water marks and dust can be more visible on a smooth reflective finish than on brushed or intentionally aged hardware.
This is normal for polished metal surfaces. Regularly wiping frequently used handles with a soft microfibre cloth helps maintain their clean and bright appearance.
Furniture hardware in kitchens and bathrooms may require more frequent wiping, particularly in areas exposed to moisture or daily handling.
Clean the hardware using a soft, dry microfibre cloth. When additional cleaning is required, use a slightly damp cloth with a small amount of mild soap.
Remove any cleaning residue and dry the surface immediately. This helps prevent visible water marks on the polished exterior.
Avoid abrasive sponges, scouring pads and rough cloths, as they may scratch the finish. Harsh chemicals, bleach, acidic products and aggressive metal cleaners should also be avoided.
Do not use untreated-brass polishing methods on the hardware. The silver exterior is an intentional finish and should be cleaned gently rather than polished away.
Chrome Brass is an excellent choice when warm gold-toned hardware does not suit the furniture or surrounding interior. It offers a crisp silver colour, clear reflection and a contemporary character.
Explore handles, knobs and pulls made from genuine solid brass with a refined chrome finish. Combine different hardware shapes while maintaining one coordinated appearance across cabinets, drawers, wardrobes and furniture.
From small updates to complete transformations, our hardware helps interiors feel more thoughtful, finished and full of character.
Great quality item, good weight
I am beyond happy with my order. The cabinet handles are simply STUNNING, HEAVY AND BEAUTIFULLY CRAFTED. I will order again from Carl. Thank you.
Very fast shipping and the quality is perfect and feels heavy!
Excellent the product and the colour is so nice!
These are absolutely stunning and very nice quality!
Items were packed well and arrived on time. The handles look feel like quality construction and they all installed perfectly. It was challenging to find longer screws for attaching since the drawers needed longer screws. They are metric so I had to order the new ones online after determining the two big box stores.
